Topping out an exciting new development for Google at King’s Cross

Google’s new King’s Cross office officially reached its ‘topping out’ milestone this week as the final steel beam was put into place.
Described by The Guardian as a ‘landscraper’ (the building is as long as the Shard is tall), the extraordinary space is designed to connect Google with the surrounding community and create a platform for great ideas to grow.

OFR director Sam Liptrott said: “We are proud to have served as fire engineers on this project, which meets ambitious standards of sustainability and showcases the best of workplace design.”
