What Our Graduate Programme Looks Like?
At OFR, our graduate programme is designed to give you the best possible start in fire engineering, blending technical expertise with personal development and real-world experience.
Springboard Programme
Our Springboard Programme helps graduates build confidence, communication and networking skills while connecting with colleagues across the business through accessible online and in-person workshops.
Technical Training
Regular technical workshops and presentations led by our business leaders help graduates deepen their fire engineering knowledge, stay up to date with industry developments, and learn from experienced professionals across the business.
OFR Technical Institute
Our Technical Institute provides specialist fire engineering training, giving colleagues the opportunity to expand their technical knowledge, learn from experts, and connect with teams across the business.
On-the-Job Training
From day one, you’ll gain hands-on project experience alongside experienced engineers, applying your learning in real-world situations while developing your skills with support from mentors and colleagues across the business.

About You
You will be working towards, or have recently completed, your degree in a relevant discipline.
We welcome graduates from a range of STEM backgrounds. Alongside those with fire engineering degrees, our team includes colleagues who studied civil, mechanical, and aeronautical engineering, as well as surveying and mathematics. If you are curious, motivated, and keen to apply your skills to fire safety, there could be a place for you at OFR.

Closing date for applications is midnight on Monday 9th November 2026.
The majority of interviews will take place before the end of December 2026.
Interviews are primarily in person in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. Reasonable travel expenses can be reimbursed. If you will be unable to attend an in-person interview, please ensure this is noted within your application to allow us to consider alternative options.
