Our 2024 graduate intake programme is live

Our OFR colleagues have been out and about touring universities across the UK this month, telling graduates about our intake programme for 2024. Here, our colleague Karen Hugh tells us more.

We are proud investors in budding new talent, welcoming a cohort of new graduates into OFR each year, ensuring that we invest in them and nurture them through their fire engineering career.

One of the ways in which we reach out to prospective colleagues is through our annual university careers fair tour which sees us exhibit at institutions up and down the country to tell them about our offering – inviting graduates to join us at one of our seven offices across the UK from September 2024.

Each new colleague will benefit from a great working environment, and a chance to help shape some amazing national and international developments. We guide each graduate, with a practical immersion into fire engineering and the unique opportunity to work with leading technical experts in this field, whilst learning the skills critical to becoming a trusted consultant to clients. 

That means that we’re also keen to welcome new graduates from a variety of different disciplines – in the hope they can bring new perspectives and experience to our existing colleagues. It’s part of our commitment to learn from each other as we work through the graduate process.
