An updated look for our growing brand

OFR refreshed brandingThis week saw us unveil a refreshed brand and a new website, with a new aesthetic that helps reflect our growing business. Here, our founder Simon Lay talks us through our company’s journey, and our updated look.

We’ve been in business for nearly six years now, and a lot’s happened in that time. We’ve grown from just two of us into a team of more than 100 colleagues. We’ve undertaken some great projects — all over the world — to guide our clients and protect people and planet; we’ve invested in our colleagues, ensuring that we nurture the single best team of fire engineers in the country.

So we thought it was time to evolve our brand and our website to better reflect that.

We teamed up with our longstanding friends Drumbeat, who helped update our brand with a slightly new look that better reflects our status as the UK’s largest independent fire safety consultant.

As such, our brand visuals needed to be adapted to better convey this position. To reinforce the already established trust and reassurance that working with OFR brings — the logo is now bolder, clearer and acts as an emblematic kite-mark of exceptional expertise.

Drumbeat has also helped us evolve our website, creating a new portal on which we can share our work and best practice. An insightful blog section will give our brilliant colleagues a voice, and a platform to share their expertise.

This is a space on which we can fly the flag for safe and sustainable construction in the UK and beyond. Our work is becoming increasingly important as we guide clients through changing legislation and use of different materials in building.

So come in, make yourself comfortable and have a look around. You’ll find in-depth details of some of the projects we have worked on, as well as the opinions and insight of our brilliant fire engineering colleagues. We’d love to hear what you think.
